I can't explain the feeling that I get while walking into the LSU campus before a football game. It's even more special when I'm making that trek with any of my 3 kids in tow. I remember those walks mostly because my stories would change as they grew older. At 5/6 they would always want to talk about "Mike the Tiger" and how the entire city of Lafayette could possibly fit into Tiger stadium. As they've grown over the years, (12,16,18) they now love to hear the stories about my experiences as a student. I became friends with the LSU punter and took him and a LBer down to the Boudin Festival one year. I remember going over to the players dorm several times and hung out with our All American LBer a few times. He definitely had one thing in common with my buddies from Fla. Those were great times and great memories. I now tell my kids the PG13 version.

I told that story because my kids are now so infected with LSU that every time I fly out for business they ask me to bring them back ANYTHING LSU. My kids have never stepped foot on LSU's field. They've never had a backdoor pass to walk freely amongst the players and coaches...and yet they've developed this LOVE for LSU. I have a feeling that it will last a lifetime for my kids. I know it has for me.

I can't imagine an La kid, who has LSU rooted in their heart, not hating Bama. Was there ever ANY doubt that both of those 5* Ala. LBers were always committing to the GUMPS yesterday? They are BAMA boys and have BAMA in their hearts... and I get it.

The situation and timing is perfect for Dylon at LSU and I think he and his family will realize it and he'll be a Tiger
