The problem with what LSU did was put their eggs in that one basket for a kid living 12 miles form Austin and had to know that his mom wanted him close to home. Their were a lot of other really good linebackers out of state linebackers that didn't live 15 minutes from a major D1 campus that Miles could have gone after. So I really don't get this strategy any more than whole Franks QB thing.

So should the staff not go after players who are too close to other schools? The guy committed a year ago and has remained solid for entire recruiting cycle until the last day. And you cant really fault Les for not going after other LBs because IF Fowler stays true to his word what do you do with the other ones that you no longer have room for?
