Nah, McCluskey frisked Mike. He's clean.
Oh - and if you're looking for some discussion on the Epic format and the Godfather in general, I think there was a thread or two about a week ago you may still be able to find.

not a big fan of the additional scenes
I think Coppola got it right the first time, this just seems better suited for a deleted scenes DVD
feel the same way about apocalypse now redux
editing is an art, and you can see why those scenes didn't make the cut

I prefer the original two movies.
But since I've seen them 100 times, I really enjoyed the Epic with deleted scenes.

Seems like there's several that would have added some good detail to the original movies, but they may not seem it now because you already know what's going to happen.

Why didn't Michael at least try and make Fredos death look like an accident or even a suicide?

this...some of the additional scenes hold up well on their own and were exciting to watch, others needed to be cut. I was in full nerd mode telling me wife stuff like, "oh wow this whole part where Tom Hagen is walking through the house was not part of the movie" while she just rolled her eyes and played Candy Crush on her phone and said "uh huh, that's nice".
I also went full fan boy on the scene when young Vito and Clemenza meet the gunsmith Augustino Coppola and his son Carmine, who played a flute I think...and I explained to her how the directors dad was a musician named Carmine Coppola and wrote some of the background music for the movie so he must have included a scene as tribute to his father.

Too bad he didn't get to finish his veal; it's the best in the city.

I feel like the scene with the bunnies in helicopters in the rain was rightfully cut. 100% the correct decision the first time around. It was long, very boring, and contributed nothing.
Buuuut... the French Plantation scene, particularly the dinner conversation, added a lot of depth and should have been in the original. Could have cut his interlude with the French lady afterword though.
The scene with the Col searching for his board was funny and didn't take up too much time. I think that was fine.
