Pretty funny to see just how divided the state is between north and south looking at this mpa fromt he lhsaa votes friday

Guess those 23 schools that voted against the pay raise for officials don't anticipate being in any close games.

Just learned something new. Grew up rivals with Basile and never had any idea they were a select type of school in any way. now I understand my hatred for them as a kid so much more!
Seriously though, how does this make any sense at all??

Can we just give Shreveport to Texas already? They are so much more like Texas than LA anyways, and Texas already has split associations (with very few exceptions).

Also, point 6 on this article is BS. The amendment made the split more tolerable, and probably some schools who voted for the split, would not have voted for it if the amendment did not pass. Therefore, it's in the best interest of the schools against the split to also vote against the amendment. That was a great strategy by those schools. It didn't work, of course, but I can absolutely understand it, and it is not inconsistent at all.
