Based on the need for the position and the pure athleticism he has. We are stacked at running back and depleted at linebacker. He could step in and compete for a starting position, not just because of the depth of talent, but because he also has a semester head start over the other potential linebackers we will sign tomorrow.

No, this is just wrong. He wasn't recruited for what he's going to contribute next year; it's the two or three years after that. The year after next we'll have Guice, Brossette, and Ducre. That's ONE stud, one who was shaky in a very little playing time, and a third who hasn't seen the field. That is NOT "stacked".
I expect White to be a running back at LSU.
