Thanks, I've made my fair share of trips to Philly.
I left off a lot of the higher end places just bc we typically don't spend $28/30+ per entree. But, philly has some excellent fine dining places - as mentioned there is Morimoto and also Vetri which is a 5 or 6 course chefs tasting menu spot for around $150/person. As I said, anything with Marc Vetri's name on it is going to be good. He along with Jose Garces (and Steven Starr to an extent) are the John Besh's of Philly.
Eta: I highly recommend Bud & Marilyn's. The cheese curds are amazing.

wife and i just did a long weekend there, and stayed at the marriott downtown next to the reading terminal.
IMO you couldnt pick a better location. its a very walkable city and we walked everywhere. its 30 yards from the reading market and that place is amazing. we literally ate there 5 times. so many choices
it was a nice walk down to all the historical places- liberty bell, etc.
also we walked down to a cool uptown type area with lots of good restaurants and found an awesome happy hour place called Tria Cafe. its a small plate/craft beer/wine place. we have a few craft beers with some appetizers and the food was great.
