I wish Demps actually took a note from Bower who actually didn't make desperate moves when his time was clearly up.

My optimal situation would be Demps trading Anderson and possibly Evans(Gordon seems unrealistic at this point with his poor play and injury) to open up more cap space and bring back some draft picks and maybe cheaper long term role players.

Any players shouldn't be high risk though. They should be guys that could be moved if a new GM needed it fairly quickly.

Just waiting til the offseason means you basically concede any value for trading Anderson and the slim possibility of Gordon.



EDIT: to your next post. To me there is zero value in maximizing this season and doubling down. Even if we beat most of those playoff teams I don't think it would be anything but false hope. We aren't getting out of the first round barring major injury to the top 3 teams before tip off in a series.
