I like riding in the parade. To me, that's when you can really take it all in on how much people are enjoying themselves.
as far as going to the parade as part of the crowd, meh, it was better when I was a kid.
there is really only one other day besides the day I ride that I enjoy. And it isn't Fat Tuesday.
