Couldn't hold the jocks of the Purple Panthers back to back state champs of the early 2000's. Coach Almond is the GOAT.
Darnell Lazare
Kentrell Gransberry
Chijuan Mack
Ledell Eackles Jr.
BTW, Stro had Reggie Robinson on his team...they were pretty stout.

Eackles, Gransberry, and Lazarre all had pretty good college careers also. How did that team fare against Parkview back then?

Don't forget James Collins with that silky J and unlimited range. When LSU signed DMITCH that year I was mad they picked him over Collins. Obviously DMITCH was the right choice though.

they were very good and won back-to-back. But, in the 2003 season, Freshman DJ Augustine had them beat until he was fouled out in the 4th quarter.
I remember BM beating LSU great, Taz Mitchell, in the semis that year. It was a huge upset. Future Michigan O-lineman and Center for BM, Adam Krause, shut Taz down in that game.

quote:saw him play on the woodlawn team that was unstoppable back in the day. 2002-2003 IIRC, give or take a year.
