What's your opinion on the series? Halo 1 was groundbreaking when it came out on XBox.. I loved Halo 2, I hate to know how much of my life I spent playing that multiplayer. To me it'll always be the best. Also enjoyed Halo 3.
To me, it all started going down hill with Reach.( speaking of online only because Reach's Campaign was good I thought) Halo 4 I thought was just ok.. I'm really not digging guardians that much.. Haven't even finished the campaign etc..
I'm trying to decipher if I'm just burned out with FPS altogether, or if the more fast paced, gimmickier(reqs) stuff has turned me off.
Just my opinion and if you enjoy it that's alright also. Just wish I could enjoy it like the old days of slaying it up on Burial Mounds, Beaver creek, Blood Gulch, and Zanzibar..

I think Halo is an amazing franchise, but I finished the fight with Halo 3.

I played Halo 4 and thought it was good, but the spark was gone.

Halo Reach was actually the best game in the series IMO.

Halo really started declining after 3 and really, as a whole, has begun to focus more on the graphical aspect rather than the gameplay.

I played 1-3 religiously. I did enjoy Reach with friends but frick that online. Halo 4 lasted me a bit and have yet to get 5 but I plan on it.

Halo 5's story was meh, but the gameplay is great and the multiplayer was my favorite since 3.

Halo 2 was the last GREAT game in the series. 3 was good, but the introduction of bubble shields, gravity lifts, etc. ruined it for me. I didn't touch another Halo after 3 until Halo: MCC came out. That game was a broken mess, and I bought 5 and really really enjoyed it. However, it wore quickly for me, and now I no longer have an Xbox One.

Halo 5's game play brought back the early Halo feel for me. And while Reach was different, it was still a blast to play.

Probably not a popular opinion here but I've never liked Halo all that much or understood why it's so heavily acclaimed. I feel like the original Halo was just a right place, right time kind of game. I was mostly into PC gaming at the time of Halo 1 and thought it was fine but nothing special.

I've played Halo 1 - 3 and Reach (not to mention, some Marathon 1 & 2). I enjoyed Reach the most but after beating the campaign decided they probably simply weren't for me and that's alright.

However, I do love that you can play the Halo campaigns in 4 player co-op. I wish more games did that.

Halo 5 multiplayer is fun but damn the story sucks. Really hurt the game for me, also no split screen is just stupid.

Best console multiplayer series of all time. Don't get me wrong, it is not as nearly as popular as it used to be. However, Halo 5 is really starting to spark interest in the community. Halo 2 was tGOAT. Halo 3 is my personal favorite because of how much I played it. Halo 5 is now third for me, and I believe it has some of the most competitive multiplayer. 5 is pretty tough to master, and if they would take out radar I believe it would be up there with 2 and 3

Minus the boosters in Halo 5 I think the regular online (Not the 20v20 req shite) is actually really good. Clamber is a great addition. The removal of a ranked doubles playlist really ticks me off though.

They lost me at Reach, but honestly, multiplayer gaming has lost me. It's just not fun anymore when most of the games release broken and borderline unplayable with server issues.

Halo 1 was groundbreaking awesomeness. It's the reason I bought an Xbox in the first place. And had to beg my parents to put a TV in the room where the router was so I could play online.

Halo 2 remains to thus day one of the most fun games of all time.

The pvp multi-player was just perfect and still is. Infinite replay ability

I didn't mind H3 at the time. Wasn't my favorite by far. But I hate it now.

4 was just fine it just wasn't really a halo game IMO.

I love H5. Just want them to add more game modes and stuff to it. But the sandbox of the game is really solid.

All of this is multiplayer I don't really play campaigns.
