For a town our size, we have legit options in quite a few diff cuisines. We are just a couple of more local places away from being pretty comparable to Monroe, which is recognized as having good dining for a mid size La city.

I am in ellic often. Please give me some suggestions where i can get a good glass of wine and a nice dinner (fish, steak, lamb, etc). I do not care for Diamond Grill and go to Bistro often. Many many times I am in town for the night and want a nice dinner... And those 2 are my options.

Alex gets banged on for good reason. There may be decent lunch spots.... But eating out at night leaves much to be desired....

Honestly tho, if there is somewhere I can get a rack of lamb, or a quality bone in ribeye, or a grilled snapper, or the like outside of Bistro or Diamond... Please let me know because I will b there this week and next. I like Bistro.. Really do... But find myself eating there once a week due to lack of options (or obviously lack of knowledge of options).

Well, seeing as the two we have you say I cant tell you about, I suppose I am out. Bellinos has a decent wine list and a pretty good filet. Janohns is open on Wed and Thursday during work week.

Again, as a town of 50k, there are just not enough week night dining to support more than what we have, which is more than we used to have....Alexandria, supports a good number of folks during work hours, it does not have a large number of folks that dine out in semi fine dining fashion on an average Tuesday. But as I listed above, we are in much better off in most areas of dining. Between Red River Grill, Bistro, Janohns, and Diamond you can have a nice night out monthly.
