Apparently, what used to be a bannable offense is now an accepted practice here.
People don't realize they are taking money out of these people's pockets.

The problem that all pay-for-content services have in today's digital world is that it is impossible to police the actions of the subscribers and eventually word leaks out. There are many reasons that the services charge less than $10 a month but one of those is the fact that there is a shelf life on the information. A user knows that within hours (if not minutes) of the information being reported, the information will make its way around the LSU community. In fact, the bigger the scoop, the faster it goes viral.
If someone chooses to pay for the service nonetheless, that is their prerogative and they shouldn't be begrudged. However, they should also realize that they paid a whopping $10. They aren't some VIP member of a secret club. They aren't sacrificing something for the privilege. And complaining about it on tigerdroppings in a self-righteous way makes them worthy of ridicule.
