I have never gotten the impression that it was staged. It's quite funny.
ive seen them live in concert. funny as shite. they said thats the biggest question they get is if its staged. they said that they film A TON of footage and we only see the good stuff. they said most is just people telling them to F off. lol
they said its 100% legit and you can tell by reactions.

While we're on the topic, there is a guy that works at the Rouses in Denham that looks just like Q. Same hairstyle, beard, and build

I don't think it's staged..
However, it definitely doesn't help people believe with that stupid fricking magic carbanaro effect shite comes on after..

This. They typically film each person for like 30 minutes or more. If it's not funny, it gets cut. You're getting the cream of the crop from HOURS of shooting.

imagine that by now most people probably recognize them.
There are about 8.5 million people in New York/the boroughs. Not to mention all the tourists that come through (several of which have been shown as participants).
For perspective, 3.7 million people were in the Live+3 Day rankings for their heavily promoted Live 100th Episode. That was Tru TV's most watched program in 19 months. Source
So if those watchers were all in New York City, more than have of the population still didn't see that episode.
