like most soul food places in the south.
i love fried chicken but i think its a food that can only be so good. also lends itself to being a food that people grew up eating so their favorite is the best ever.
frying chicken is pretty basic imo

I disagree in regards to fried chicken. There is some fried chicken, such as Gus's in Memphis, that is wayyyy better than anything else I've had. There are many levels of fried chicken, at least in my world.
I also haven't found any places, soul food or other, in the South and especially not in Louisiana, that has chicken and waffles and all of the other extras that Roscoes has (the gravy ñ' onions, giblets, livers, etc) If you know of any, I sure would be interested to hear them.
