It's absolutely horrible other than Giamatti. I was going to cut it off about halfway last night until the scene in the park. I wonder what the quota on 'gotcha' lines was for every script. That's all they seem to want to give Damian Lewis or anyone that works for him. Not a single fricking thing about this show feels fresh or unique. I call it a rare failure by Showtime.

This.

The acting is adequate but the writing is painfully sub par.

Would any man, even the most beta amongst us, pick up dog poop with his bare hands because a man looking like Paul Giamatti intimidated them into doing so?

It would takes months of intense and painstaking investigating and then more months of negotiating to get one of these hedge funds characters to role over. In this show it's done once a week and it's usually completed within minutes. U.S attorney calls them into the office and they all become chatty cathy dolls immediately.

Hell, Giamatti convinced one of them to roll over on the biggest player in the industry while talking to the guy as he coached third base at a little league game.

Maybe they'll turn it around but it's been a real dud so far.
