Bait Bama looked mighty at home against a USCe team than bfniii says is a real good one. I on the other hand think they played a weak s o s and had Moody not gotten hurt they would have 3 SEC losses with lots more to come. So bfniii is USCe and good team or what?

Did anyone actually look at bnfiii's links? Are those even real websites? Or ones made by 12 year olds?

winning 8 of 11 is nice. the flip side is they beat scrub teams and several teams who aren't playing well (vandy, ole miss, ark, bama) and they lost to a&m and fla.
So, does top 25 Kentucky count as a scrub team, or a team not playing well? I'm glad you aren't on the selection committee.

Yea, it is sad.
They also don't tend to reflect what he thinks they do.

You've yet to define your bubble
quote:no, that's not the bubble. lunardi's site even has a COLUMN THAT SAYS BUBBLE TEAMS. that column says "last 4 in" etc. tiger, you're just not observant or informed.
Teams being considered for an at-large = bubble
quote:so, you didn't see it and you're criticizing. makes sense. head in the sand again.
No, I didn't see it. Let's use out of date information to make arguments
yes, that one is from before the bama game. do you really think, as i said, that beating a crappy bama team jumped lsu all the way over several teams into the bracket? i realize that's a complicated question for you.
quote:not according to that site prior to the bama game. we'll see where the tigers land on that site when it gets updated. as of now, nowhere to be seen, as i said. it's not an opinion. it's a fact.
Guess that puts us in the conversation
quote:holy cow. you say it doesn't judge accuracy and then you DEFINE ACCURACY. i just don't know what to say. do you know what a sophist is? yes, the matrix judges accuracy. regardless of your sophistry, explain why the sites i posted either don't have lsu on the bubble or barely on the bubble. wow. just wow.
no, the matrix doesn't judge accuracy, period. It judges accuracy based on the final bracket weighted towards seeding
quote:pretty much, no. that was the whole point of linking those sites. but continue with the verbal gymnastics.
Do they have LSU "anywhere near"?
quote:apparently you still don't know that that means "on the bubble." even the revered lunardi explains that in a patently obvious way. well, patently obvious to people who can read.
Have you learned what the term last four In means yet?

USCe team than bfniii says is a real good one
quote:the fact of the matter is they have a respectable rpi and record. lsu needs a signature road win. there's only 2 chances left. scar and uk. you fill in the rest.
So bfniii is USCe and good team or what?

I have no problem if the committee wants LSU in the tourney for the ratings, Ben Simmons story, or any other reason for that matter.
Alabama gets an obvious advantage of that in football since 1-9; I have no problem when it happens to us for whatever reason.

ALL WE GOTTA DO IS KEEP WINNING
Posted on 1/25/16 at 10:43 am to bfniii
but the cult is still in the "relax, be patient" mode which is ridiculous. and when i point out the reality of the situation, i get called hater, miserable, petulant, etc. they don't want to deal with the facts. and then there's tiger who is a special breed altogether.
Also B, I assume you're talking about the "patience is a virtue" thread I started and told people to relax. Well that thread was started before the Houston game, so yes we DID have time to get back on track and safe to say that yes we ARE back on track.
What would your reaction be if, ands it's a mighty big if, LSU won it all? That we were very fortunate to survive this or that game, and that this or that coaching move really should have cost us a chance to win it all. I truly believe there is no making you happy. You claim to not be a miserable person so I ask you this, have you even enjoyed 1 LSU game win so far this season

So then being in the Next Four Out, by that same criteria, is on the bubble and not "kind of on the bubble"?
That bracket doesn't list a next for out, but instead has a group of teams being considered.
Thinking can be hard.

so, you didn't see it and you're criticizing.

That was obvious sarcasm. You're an idiot

not according to that site prior to the bama game
Which site? The one with the bracket that had us in the same spot prior to the game?

yes, that one is from before the bama game. do you really think, as i said, that beating a crappy bama team jumped lsu all the way over several teams into the bracket? i realize that's a complicated question for you.
Not at all. Nor do I think beating a "crappy Bama team" jumped us from out of the conversation to in the conversation.
The point
Your head

Try reading what I said again. Sound out the words.

xplain why the sites i posted either don't have lsu on the bubble or barely on the bubble.
So they have LSU on the bubble? After being no where near the conversation? Got it.

apparently you still don't know that that means "on the bubble." even the revered lunardi explains that in a patently obvious way. well, patently obvious to people who can read.
Just wondering how on can be "kind of on the bubble" if it is explained in a patently obvious way.
Also would how you can claim LSU isn't on the bubble if they aren't in the last four out.
Just looking for some consistent logic
BTW, LSU has now moved up around ~70 spots in RPI since SEC play started. Remember that beautiful statement

Johathan Mötley would eat lsu alive plus they rebound the hell out of the ball especially on the offensive side of the ball. Plus they don't turn the ball over and have bench depth.

Another funny thing is as of 1/19, the bracket matrix average for LSU had them in the last four out group (aka the bubble)
LINK
I think it will be updated tonight to reflect the current brackets.
But I also won't be able to post much more today.

no signature road wins.
This is the main thing we need, in my opinion. Hopefully Vandy and Alabama can do well down the stretch. If not, it would be huge to win at UK or South Carolina.

bfniii, how upset are you gonna be when LSU makes the dance?

Serious question for bnfiii: (I know I haven't had a serious question for you in a long long time.)
If we lose @Kentucky and @USCe and go 14-4 in conference, do we make the NCAA tournament? For the sake of this scenario I am going to say we also beat Oklahoma at home. Do we make the tournament?
See you are adamant that we NEED a "signature" road win. However, I just painted you a beautiful picture where we would not need a "signature" road win to make the tournament. Of course if you tell me that under the scenario that I just painted for you that we won't make the tournament then I may stop asking you serious questions and go back to calling you childish names.
I'll hang up and listen.
