Did anybody notice Todd Harris with the LSU shorts

Handlers are human pieces of shite. And parents that let their children be handled by a handler are even worse.

yea, Devonta Smith ain't coming to LSU. Shame.

This is not an accurate or fair assessment of the guy. Those kids don't have much and he helps them with a ton of stuff in their life, and it's from his heart. I have had the opportunity to spend time with him, and he is a good guy.
Yes. He hasn't built the relationship with LSU that would be beneficial to the Tigers, but that doesn't make him a bad guy. I'm sure it bothers many fans, but let's not crucify a guy that is trying to help kids because he may not share the same convictions about LSU football as you do.

He hasnt tried to build a relationship with LSU either though, or should I say LSU isnt buying what he is selling.
You know and I know which schools help out these kinds of people and there is a reason he is so enamored with Bama. They get taken care of. Plain and Simple.
As for helping the kids, thats fine and dandy but he isnt doing it out of the kindness of his heart. If so he wouldnt have allowed himself to be bought and he would be trying to push the kids into the best situations for themselves, not the best situation he gets for himself.
On a side note looking forward to your NSD preview with your class finish. Keep up the good work.

How do you know a school other than LSU isn't good for him? I want him at LSU but I'm not stupid either, I realize it's not everyone's dream like it would be mine.

Only time will tell, but I'm sure there were those that said the exact same thing about the "mentors" that helped Marcus Dupree screw up his career and squander his money.

Why?
I work for a living and don't have time to meet, hangout or help high school football players who may or may not be very good high school football players.
What does this guy do besides "help them with a ton of stuff in their life"?

For the same reasons I have during my life; it's a natural desire for some to go out of their way to help others. Look, the guy doesn't push those kids to schools like you think he does. I've built solid relationships with those kids, their families and the "man" himself. It's not like everyone thinks it is. You can come to your own conclusions without facts, or take into account what someone that knows them well has to say about it.

I usually agree with your assessments, but the guy is a Bama Douche. When he brought Carter/Smith and another kid to LSU camp he was decked out in Bama gear. Really? Of course he was asked to change, or leave from the get go. He has an agenda, he's getting paid, he could give a shite about the kids best interest.

Fair enough...
So what's the problem between he and LSU exactly?

Is this the same handler that wears Bama gear to LSU camps? If so, that's a great way to build a relationship with your home state school!!

To be honest, I believe it got off on the wrong foot. It wasn't what either one did necessarily. When Shyheim committed to Alabama out of nowhere, it added a level of tension to the relationship that has been hard to deal with at times on both sides.
Here is the other thing and possibly the most important. He stills talks to LSU regularly. He tries to notify them of younger kids. WR coach Tony Ball has conversations with him as do other coaches on the staff. This relationship isn't broken, so all of this may be a moot point.

But he shows up to an LSU Camp with 3 kids he's "handling" decked out in Bama gear? This guy must be a hell of a salesman, cause he has you fooled.

I'm not saying that he doesn't like Bama. That's not a secret and he will be the first to tell you that. But the guy isn't anti-LSU like everyone thinks he is.

I'll take your word for it and I hope that the fence gets mended.
But, you can't blame us for being leery of this type of guy. We have seen guys like him in the past - Greg Robinson comes to mind.
Also, did he really come to an LSU event decked out in Alabama gear?

I am just as leery about guys because of the business I am in. We should all be leery of people around kids IMO. Heck, some people are leery of me. But a lot of people in this business that are willing to help these kids reach their ultimate potential aren't doing for the wrong reasons. Unfortunately, there are enough of them out there that it makes it difficult for everyone.
Those kids would have missed out on a lot if it wasn't for him. That is the truth.

I can appreciate that honestly. Showing up to LSU decked out in Bama gear seems antagonistic at best.
