I truly believe that CLM has grown into the coach that most of us wanted him to be all along.Yes, he has done a very good job up to now. But I believe that his best years are ahead of him now. As an older man myself that learned some of the most important lessons in life in my latter years, I understand and appreciate his maturity and development. Thanks coach for staying the coarse and continuing to be a great LSU Tiger!

But even that being said, this is probably his best class. And considering the late season debacle, that's pretty impressive.

This I agree with. What a recovery. Very impressive. We will know how good this class really is in a couple years. Pretty amazing job.

I think the incident and near death experience last year re-ignited a grease fire in Les in recruiting and I think in coaching. I would be very surprised if our offense (Cam unleashed) doesn't kick arse and show much more diversity. Keep in mind, Cam was the guy who designed the offense that featured the TE Antonio Gates receiving and L Tomlison running wild in which he was the HOT NFL coordinator.

I'm not going to comment on this because people get their feelings hurt on here, but I will say this. If the offense actually changes this year, LSU's reign begins.

Looking ahead, LSU has the team to be back-to-back champs.

- The perfect amount of ineligible and eligible for the NFL that won't deplete us like years' past. And not just the also-rans, I'm talking the true leaders of the team.
- Excellent depth at every position if this class holds true and we grab Scott
- A returning starting QB who should only improve and doesn't exhaust his eligibility until after 2017
- Looking ahead, unless they start Boutte, LSU will bring back all but one offensive line starter from the 2016 squad.

I really hope to see Harris improve like Allen and Prescott did. After watching both of their spring games prior to the 2015 football season, I knew I was looking at the two best QBs in this conference. If I can see that kind of improvement in Harris, we've got ourselves the best team in the country by far.

You're wrong there. I believe most of Miles' problems can be traced to recruiting deficiencies. Not the overall talent level, but the absence of entire position groups in most classes. These lead to teams that are missing one or two ingredients.

This is exceedingly under noticed.

Recruiting rankings are based entirely upon how many good players you recruit and have exactly zero to do with whether or not you actually can field a team. Technically, you could go 10 years without recruiting a QB and still have nothing but top 5 recruiting classes.

And.........your team would suck arse.

You mean the two game winning streak at season's end?

I've worked on VA recruits with BDP and he is awesome. AND his special teams greatly improved as the year progressed. He is a great guy and works his arse off. Enough said...

The point of the post in case the tards missed it is this...no one is perfect...and some learn in different ways...CLM has now demonstrated that he realizes how he was deficient in staff and recruiting...too much loyalty to staff that weren't cutting it and not demanding better results in recruiting...he seems to have got it straight now...I believe he has! Go Tigers!

Recruiting is going great. I'm hoping that Miles will take credit for where his offenses have ranked historically and make some changes. I think he really wants to. I'm just concerned about when the ball is snapped, will he be able to resist going into a shell?

When will people get their head out of their arse and realize our team woes come as much if not more from our defensive struggles as the offensive one!

Alabama runs the ball down our throat for 300 yards and our defense cant get off the fricking field, but lets bitch over and over about the offense.

I always did like Coach Miles, on how he kept the team together after the hurricane his first year here. It is hard when a coach comes in after a coach like Coach Satan. Coach Satan left us so let him go. What I hate is when people compare the two. I give the Coach Miles haters this Coach Satan is a better X's & O's coach. But I rather have a coach who wants to be here than a Coach that says where is the money. Coach Miles is a great recruiter and he is good enough that LSU is a team that wins 10 or 11 games a year. These Boosters who wanted him gone are IDIOTS, who are they goinh to get that is a better coach?
