The last yard dog I had a run-in with was in the back lot of a hispanic tire store. The owner had given that dog a damn donkey head. Dog was the happiest animal on the face of the earth... completely ignored my fat white arse.
I'm guessing José took the head from him at sundown.
Deer leg works,too. But it won't last as long as the head of a bovine or equine.
