He does not work well as a rim protector
We can't fix the problems if we can't even identify what the problems actually are

That doesn't come close to telling the whole story.
Assuming you got that data from Nylon Calculus, that same site shows that AD is one of the worst PFs at rim defending last year. 77 less points saved at the rim compared to the average PF/C despite having a low opp FG% at the rim.
