Honestly, let's look at compeition. Pettit was 6'9 205...at that time that was a dominant big man. Are you saying Brandon Bass and Big Baby couldn't have dominated back then? It's very hard to use players 50 years ago vs the game today. That's why I added the others because I'm not going to completely leave them out

True, but, even taking that in to consideration, Pettit was named one of the NBA's 50 greatest players. In terms of competition, that's pretty damn elite.

You have to take time into consideration. Of course guys like Big Baby would have dominated back in the 1960s, but guys like that didnt really exist back then.
Just like "Great" offensive linemen in football just 30-40 years ago were 250-260 pounds would get destroyed if they played in today's game against LBs as big as they are. The accomplishments stay in the eras.
