No wonder Spurrier quit. The level of arse kissing these grown arse men do to a 17 year old kid is crazy.

Yeah, I get the "do what it takes to win" mentality but my pride has a value, too. 
And I have to imagine that the subset of recruits that think this is cool and not at all weird is smaller than Harbaugh is estimating, IMHO.

And get paid millions based upon whether they are able to land these 4 or 5 star players?
90% of the job is recruiting great talent who would not need college anyway if not for age requirements in Pro sports.
Spurrier could always remained in the NFL ( but could not hack it) where everyone gets 4/5 star players .
