Sicario is much more of a suspense thriller than "action" movie. It's not Con Air or some dumb arse Michael Bay movie. If you think it is just some bang bang shoot em up action movie you must not have been paying attention.
Look, this thread really isnt for this discussion, but I found the film to have a bunch of really dumb scenes of pointless violence and explosions.
Omg a trap door, lets pull on this lock and jiggle it. There are corpses all in the walls of this house, but lets just get some boltcutters on this trap door and not worry about whats in. BOOM RANDOM EXPLOSION
Lets drive up to a house with a noise af vehicle that suddenly becomes quiet until it smashes through the wall.
Let's have this coerce an enemy to drive a car onto his cartel's headquarters and not have people notice he is dead even though it would be suspicious as f and you can see the guy is dead from in front of the car.
Lets just shoot dozens of dudes but its undetected cuz he shoots really fast and has a silencer. He is basically the superhero of this action film. Every plan he has goes perfectly and you have to suspend reality.
But once again, the thread isnt about critiquing sicario. But I am trying to explain the qualities of movies that turn me off.

Yea, I remembered from the first time you posted it, it was not worth you posting it again here.
He wasn't dead, he was bleeding then presumably died after he stopped the car
What would you know about reality in this scenario? Or you in FBI or part of some secret government special operations group that fight drug cartels?
