I understand why people use the national title argument, but it is lazy. Would Sabans season in 2012 be worse if Oregon doesn't lose to Stanford?
No
If it isn't an undefeated season you needed luck to make the title game. That makes you luckier not better than a coach from a season who had 1 loss and didn't make the title game
For the record I think Saban is better. I was just answering the titles argument
