This is true. I don't think it has as much to do with shotgun or under center as some think. We lost to Bama by 14 in Tuscaloosa with our struggling offense. If Clemson doesn't get the last garbage touchdown they lose by 12. While Harris is not Watson, I believe LSU has as much if not more overall talent than Clemson.

Clemson's defensive backfield and special teams busts are what lost it for them. Their offense dealt enough points to beat Bama.

Clemson lost the game because of special teams breakdowns and busted coverage. We lost the game because we couldn't move the football. Comparing scores doesn't fix this problem. Yes, Watson had a great performance, but the Clemson gameplan is what tends to beat Bama. Neutralize their size and strength in the middle by getting skill positions on the edge.

Unlike Clemson, we were never competitive offensively, if you don't think we can learn something from their approach (not necessarily throwing 50+ times, but getting to the edge), then you're just really not that bright.

This is misleading. The final score was very representative of the Clemson game. It was very copetitive. The LSU loss was worse than the score. It was never competitive after halftime.
