Just watched. Shocker finish, but the one I wanted. Overall, a helluva finale. Really enjoyed seeing folks from the past except Sanjaya. I could have lived my entire life never seeing him again.
I read an article talking to Nigel who is no longer involved, but was brought back to do this finale. He hinted at the possibility of a show like AI in the future.
Durban looked like he was trying too hard. P2 still makes me swoon.

Great finale and result. Glad they made it more about the contestants. Elliot Yamin was one of my favorites so glad to see him on there.
Pumped that Trent won. Could've done without the Jlo performance though...and Kara Diaguardi is a horrible singer. How did she get that spot?

I'm excited for Trent. I hope he doesn't disappear after this, like some idols.
I felt bad for La'Porsha, but she found out she got a recording contract immediately after the show, so I don't have to feel TOO bad for her.
Seeing so many past contestants and winners was fun. Don't know that Kara Dioguardi deserved a whole song, though.
