No, I'd want Buford T. Justice's ride.

Now I've got a serious Diablo with a Dr. Pepper Jones.

Those cars were the bomb back when I was growing up. Everybody wanted one.

God I love that movie. And Sally Field was hot.
Buford T. Justice: This happens every time one of these floozies starts poontangin' around with those show folk figs.

I had a gold 79 with the 400 4spd back then. God I loved that car. Wish I still had it.

At the end of the '76 model year, the 455 finally was laid to rest. GM had downsized their full-size cars for '77 and the 455 no longer fit the program, The bean counters weren't about to spend money certifying an entire displacement class for one carline. Instead of the 455, a pair of KwikSpecs 400's and a (gasp) Oldsmobile 403 could be ordered up. This marked the first application of a non-Pontiac engine in the Trans Am. This would be a grim prelude to the future.
The car is still iconic, but I didn't realize they kicked that monster out from under the hood.

Right. I can see her now, runnin' back up that aisle. No, she was dancin' back up the aisle.
Her knockers bouncin' all over the joint.
Let go of that wheel. Why, her arse was wigglin', too.
