People keep getting this whole thing of............"should we be satisfied?"..............as meaning if we're not extremely angry, somehow we think it's okay.

Its the same with the football team. I'm not "satisfied" with a 9-3 record and finishing behind Alabama and Ole Miss again, but that doesn't mean I think coach Miles should be fired. It's the same with coach Caldwell. I think having this "throw away" year sucks. We should NEVER have seasons like this at LSU. However, it is what it is. I DO believe that coach Caldwell should be given a short leash over the next year or so. I also believe it is POSSIBLE to turn it around. However, if we don't start seeing an improvement...............especially in recruiting.............then I'm all for letting her go and getting somebody else.

I agree with you on the most part, but with the success that our programs, I don't want to accept a throw away year like this one. I can accept a winning season as a throw away year, but it doesn't look like this will happen.

As a retired high school coach, I didn't get to recruit my players and talent ran in cycles. But I never would accept any season as a throw away year. Our goals were always set high and that's something I'm worried that I'm not seeing.

But since Miles was mentioned, his recruiting classes have been over the top. Nikki's not so much.

I remember when you were saying this woman was going to be winning championships on the reg, and LSU would be happily paying her $1 million per year by now.
