I can only imagine how hard it is to tell a 5* recruit you should come to our school " because of the success the Sunbelt has had over the years. We can offer you the experiences of playing in front of 12k people on any given weekend "
Playing successful programs helps LSU. So yes, I want our opponents to succeed. Strength of opponents still matters.

Huge difference between wanting the program to pull their weight and actively dickriding their accomplishments. I'm glad Ann Arbor is finally getting their shite together and not being such a joke, but I sure as hell won't ever root for them against anyone. frick them. I feel the same about the rest of the conference to a much lesser degree. I'm also perfectly fine with Michigan State's beat down the other day.
