The victim is saying that she turned down two previous sexual advances, then ate pills he provided to her and was rendered unconscious or unable to provide consent.
While I am not a proponent of blaming the victim, this sounds like bullshite.
How many women would find a guy sordid and creepy, turning down repeated requests for sex, then eat a handful of pills that he provides?
While I think he is guilty of tons of things, this doesn't pass the smell test.

i didn't read the article but it was even 10 years ago, the meme of how we view pills would be totally different
our modern cynicism probably is clouding our judgment of past judgments

She was at his house for dinner and said she didn't feel well.
He went and got her "the pills". If she thought it was Advil or Tylenol she would have taken them and not thought twice.
Also, she is a lesbian so she was going to turn down every sexual advance he provided.
Factor in 50 other women with similar stories and this absolutely passes the smell test.
Not to mention there was an allegedly recorded phone call with Bill incriminating himself that the D.A. could not use because it's illegal to record someone without their knowledge in Pennsylvania.
