But we're good with Norman and the Panthers, right?

Norman didn't have the bat and was fined a pretty good amount for his actions, but he didn't purposely target a player in the head, which is a big time issue in the NFL at the moment, especially with the 'Concussion' film about to drop.

IMO the NFL's hands were tied. Had he not done the targeting then he is fined and that's it, at least he showed maturity and apologized like a man.

If OBJ was from Alabama, he'd be getting killed on this board. Both Norman and OBJ should have been ejected. But Norman wasn't the one who tried to spear a guy with a head-to-head hit. OBJ should have been suspended. That said, props to him for apologizing. Norman should do the same.

So tackling by the face mask and body slamming are perfectly safe?

Who cares, it's either right or wrong.

I agree; curious, has Norman or the Panthers issued an apology or just more statements about obj being a balarenia, bitch, etc...

My problem is not that obj shouldn't be suspended, he should but Norman's @$$ should be sitting out with him as well as the officiating crew.

OBJ was targeted before, during and after the game because of his talent. He handled it poorly but it never ceases to amaze me how quick our 'passionate' fan base is to turn on our own.
