splitting 50/50 is never in the question. One of the reasons I join a league based on payout, so im not going to get there then break it down to nothing. That's dumb.
but 1st place is scheduled to get 1200, 2nd place 300. Im going to propose a 1000/500 1st/2nd place pot. That's all the compromise i have

I've played in eight fantasy leagues the last three years and made seven ship appearances but only won one. Never before this year have I offered a split. This year I'm doing $800 first and $600 second in my big league and splitting a 50-50 in the other ($330 to each team). I invested $265 in fantasy this year and will at least bring in $930 maybe $1130.

In one league I've already gotten $500 for winning the regular season. I can win $1,000 this week or another $500 for runner up. He offered me a $750 split. I'd rather go for the win mainly because of the cash already in pocket
