Sorry kid, be honest and ask yourself if you actually know that grandparent.

You're either lying to yourself to say you do based on stuff your parents told you but you never got first hand, or you're an outlier. Or at the least, you aren't MOST.

Stop defending the indefensible. Your generation is absolutely the farthermost removed from hardship. Don't take that as an instant negative. You were lucky enough to be born into a country where that was possible. Unfortunately, your kids are probably not going to have it that easy and you are likely ill equipped because of it to prepare them for it.
