If you could pick only one to stay, whom would it be?

I've seen some goofy "hypotheticals" on this site, but I must admit this one is pretty good. Be sure and think about both short-term and long-term implications.
And here it is:
You are the LSU Athletic Director, and you were given a mandate to fire the entire coaching staff, but there was a stipulation that required you to keep one of them, which coach would you keep, and at what position? Be specific.

Easiest hypothetical ever...Coach O, great all around coach and can recruit your mother into a threesome..

Frank Wilson. Not even close

i couldn't agree more, in frank's time at LSU, he's done more for LSU than anyone else.

Anyone that doesn't say Frank Wilson doesn't know what they are talking about.

True, but Coach O as the newcomer could mean big things. I'd prefer we keep both. In fact I'm probably in the extreme minority that think we need to keep most of the staff in tact. And that includes Steele and Peveto.

David Patrick.....maybe he has more Godchildren out there
Frank and it's not even close. You don't win with X's and O's, you win with Joynnys and Joes.

Nothing worse than someone trying to correct someone who was right in the first place.
Whom, in this case, is used correctly, as it is the direct object of the verb keep.
You're messin' with the wrong person when it comes to grammar, dip.
Don't fret it though. Not a single responder has followed the directions in the OP. In addition to which coach one would keep, the challenge is to name which position he would have (i.e. HC, DC, OC, D-line, ST, etc.). In other words, the retained coach doesn't necessarily have to remain in the same coaching position.

I disagree on Frank...I would pick O. Frank would be the second pick, but his production has definitely fallen off recently.
The guys from the River parishes he signs seem to be guys that have wanted to be at LSU their entire lives, and I don't really see any FW influence turning them if they haven't always wanted LSU.
LSU is losing a lot of players from the NO area these days, and if FW was all that he is touted to be, we wouldn't be.
Again, FW would be my second choice, but I think we would lose more if we lost O these days. He can pick up anything that FW would have gotten, as he is a terrific recruiter, but also an excellent coach. LSU needs an upgrade in coaching more than it needs an upgrade in recruiting. We have recruiters, and O is as good as any.
Just mho.

I can buy keeping Steele. But why on would you keep Peveto? If the adminwas going to force Miles to get rid of someone, he would be the first on the list.

He was kidding. Also how can you buy keeping Steele? Also Frank grew up in New Orleans so so he knows the area too
Both Steele and Peveto can take a hike imo
