You said LSU wouldn't be able to jump into the 60s by the end of the season
i don't recally saying that. perhaps you could point out when i did.

did you find out what the word "considered" means?

Well I already quoted one of times you referenced it:

quote:

lsu's rpi has gone from 115 to 106 in the last 3 games. not a good trend. do you have confidence that lsu is going to get that number higher than 70 in 13 games?

And another

quote:

lsu's rpi is mired at 106. tell me the ~40 teams that lsu is going to supplant from that list and how it's going to happen. the cult has been claiming for 2 weeks now that lsu's rpi was going to move up once sec play started. well, it did, barely.

We've now gone from the 169 to 73 since conference play

You've been dead on

quote:

we'll agree to disagree. there's only 13 games left. explain how lsu is going to pass up the 8 teams in front of them on this list.

quote:

explain how lsu is going to improve the rpi ~40 spots in 13 games.

We've moved up 33 since then with 10+ games go. How will we ever get 7 more if we keep winning?

quote:

lsu's rpi has barely budged in about a week. now at 106. what's the problem?

how is lsu going to move up ~40 spots in rpi rank in 13 games?

quote:

ah. like the a&m game. and the fla game. got it. you know, that still doesn't explain how lsu is going to SUPPLANT the 40 or so teams ranked higher right now to get into the 60's. what if they keep on WINNING?

i gave you simple questions and you've only given a blithe answer to one of them, and it was unrealistic based on the way lsu has played all season.

quote:

name the 40 or so teams that lsu will supplant on the rpi ranking and substantiate your answer. those teams are playing good opponents too. you say they play each other but, they also have an rpi head start on lsu. when lsu lost to a&m, lsu's rpi went down 1 spot. those teams, even if they LOSE to good opponents, are going to experience a similar phenomenon in rpi. they aren't going to just sink like a boat anchor making way for the awesome lsu pain train.

If LSU takes care of business, we'll absolutely improve our RPI by a wide margin

you haven't substantiated this at all, the sites i provided disagree and this isn't realistic based on how lsu has played this season.

quote:

i already told you that lsu's rpi has only gone up 9 spots in the last 3 games. the lowest at large rpi bid ever was 67, according to what i found. lsu has a MOUNTAIN to climb and only 13 games to get it done. precedent isn't on lsu's side despite your blithe responses.

quote:

oh so you're agreeing with me. that it's not going to be easy to pass up ~40 teams to get up into the 60's. why did it take you so long? or is it that you don't want to do the work to substantiate your point?

Is that enough?
