As a sales manager I use to hire/fire 3 per month - based purely on performance. They took the job knowing this though. Later in life I had a great crew that was with us through Katrina which involved folks moving to Atl, Tampa, Boone, and several other places until our building was repaired 8 month later. Then had to do a RIF in 2006 between Thanksgiving and Christmas. That was horrible. In fact, I resigned because of it.
