stupid question, have you asked the installer for recs? otherwise, just go for it... the stuff i used is going to eventually wear off and need to be refreshed in a few years but i can't say enough how much i LOVE it. good luck though!

Vinegar is about the best shower cleaner ever. It will obviously smell for a bit, but cleans easy and is cheap.

No, you do not want to use anything acidic on grout. It will degrade it. You can make a baking soda "paste" to rub on the grout lines and then apply vinegar on top of that, but never just straight vinegar. Bleach alone is also harmful for grout. You always want to use ph neutral cleaners.

You have a permanent problem. With the rocks in the shower floor, the water can not drain and stands there until it evaporates. Mold has plenty of time to grow.
For a week, try drying the shower floor with your towel after showering to see if it clears up.
