If a species has the ability for interstellar travel are they going to a specific place or are they just wondering around aimlessly?

There are many possible explanations. They might have come across Earth a very long time ago is one. Also, we have inspected a very small percentage of the sky for evidence of extraterrestrial life. It's very reasonable that we just haven't come across any evidence yet. It's pretty fun stuff to think about.

Im not so sure about that, pretty big place we are floating around in. Also would a species that could have found us, have the ability to cover their tracks?

Bertrand paradox in economics: why do two firms (a duopoly and the only two in the market), selling the same good, charge a price equal to marginal cost (the perfectly competitive outcome)?

The paradox comes about because a firm in a duopoly should charge close to the monopoly price and not the perfectly competitive price.

So maybe God is real?

He also said that we could never get to most of the universe so maybe all the other life is to far and we are the only ones in the milky way.

Of course it could just be that we are on the exact same timeline as most of them and nobody has sprouted wings yet.

Even if the monopoly price is higher than the competitive price? Why not undercut the competitive price (taking a loss but eliminating the duopoly in the long run). Then once there is a monopoly, set it at the monopoly price. (Not my field, go easy on me )

They lock you in the Federal Reserve for doing stuff like that.

I haven't studied this particular model, but I think the issue is that the other firm can and needs to price match which would drive both firms out of business. That's the mechanism that keeps the firms at operating at the lowest prices at which they can stay in business.
