Hypothetically, if LSU beats Alabama the next two years, wins the West and at least one SEC Championship, will all be forgiven? He would be 7-7 against Alabama at that point and on a roll.

p.s. - Please accept the hypothetical and don't just say it will never happen.

Beating Alabama is only important in the grand scheme of making the SEC Championship Game. He needs to quit looking like absolute dog shite on offense in losses to Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Correct, my mistake. 7-7 vs. Alabama, not Saban. But beating Alabama is the point, right? Saban just happens to be the current thorn in LSU's side.

No the point is to win the west... Bama plays a massive part in that but if we cant win our half of the division, why should we expect our team to achieve any higher goal??

The buildup for next years game won't be near like it was. Bama is really not our rival anymore. Ole Miss and Arkansas are much more important like someone above mentioned.

Come on man. You know the rant by now. The only hypotheticals that can exist is if Miles fails. If you tell the Rant that Miles will succeed then you are naive or stupid or whatever

I'm convinced some people on this board would rather LSU be unsuccessful next year just so they can say they were right about Miles. It's embarrassing.

Not gonna happen. He could , sorry. He WILL lose the next two years and be 5-9 . What do all these "hypotheticals", always have the best case outcome? What happened to reality?

Hypothetically, if Mark Hudsoeth leads USL to 3 undefeated seasons they could potentially have enough national recognition to make the 4 team playoff

bullshite.

Beating the evil red communist Gump empire is not the same as beating Mississippi State or Florida.

Pretending that that game is just another game with no more significance than any other game on the schedule just isn't accurate. It's more important to the fans, and it's obviously more important to the players based on the way they collapse after a loss in that game.

This.
Had we beaten Arky and Ole Piss we would likely be in the playoffs this year.
