Unless Les wants to give his BFF some of his own money, no way in hell LSU will pay that clown 1+mil. a year to coordinate this offense.

well if king is so worried about how much money the program is spending, surely he must be concerned about paying Les' groomsmen over a million dollar a year to do nothing

Miles is working with Alleva towards an extension for Cam through 2019. 1.5 Mil per year with toss dive bonuses and Independence Bowl incentives

I think its common knowledge here that Miles has his hand in the play calling pot also. So we are really paying Cam to be a part time play caller and QB coach. That should warrant some type of discount.

Would be interesting if they paid him incentive only (similar to a commission). Offer him something like $2500/point scored. This year he would have made about $850,000.

Let me help you out.
Fans will continue to support LSU no matter who the coach or assistants are. 8-10 wins is the goal for this program. Miles meets that goal.
F.King doesn't care about well coached football. He and Alleva are bottom line guys.
In short, expect more of the same AND do not expect any type of championship as long as F King and Alleva are at LSU. Either of them.

I don't know why you keep lumping Joe in with King.
Joe did everything he could to save the program and got his legs cut out due to political bullshite outside of his control

Even if Cam is run..... I am almost willing to bet that one, no big time OC will come here for basically one year just to be handcuffed by Miles and two the new guy will have some sort of ties to Les.

Joe did not handle the situation remotely close to correct.
The Leaks occurred on Joes Watch.
Joe likes raising the costs on the fans but the product remains average to slightly above average, (Which is the goal.
Joe is not a good AD.
Joe needs to go because based on his history, he won't make the right hire for the next football coach.

I think he'll be gone and it won't come to that. not to make light of his health, but I think it'll be given as the primary reason, though we know it isn't.

the guy has burned bridges with the patterson and franks family, keeping him on staff through NSD or the bowl game just seems insane.
QB was a massive need this class and its looking like Les and Cam will come up with nothing this class. Pathetic.
