how come Lafayette does not have a Fuzzy's taco shop?? this place is like the greatest college food spot in BR. you can get so much food for so little $$

Fuzzy's was the shite. One of the only things I miss from living in BR
I wish someone would open one in NOLA.

I agree that place is a great bang for your buck. The food is legit. Blows away zippys and izzos.
This is very nitpicky, but my only gripes is that their music is way too loud most of the time and their burrito tortillas are meh. They're similar to that gummy crap that qdoba uses. Regardless, their food has me never wanting to go to the other two except to use my izzos gift cards

write a letter to the CEO and complain that there is not enough fuzzy's for Louisianians. need Lafayette Lake Charles and New Orleans locations.

I always found Izzo's to be far superior to Fuzzy's. It wasn't even close for me, but I guess to each his own.
I had to be about 3 pitchers in to want to eat the food at Zippy's too

Granted, I haven't been to Fuzzy's in years because of this.

izzo's is totally different. fuzzy's has tacos and Izzos is burritos

I don't really consider Fuzzy's the same kind of place as Izzos either.
I hated Fuzzy's the first time I tried it a few years ago, but went back on a whim recently and have been back several times since then. Their tacos are legit, and those nachos...

Had Fuzzys for the first time the other night. Got a chicken quesadilla. Not impressed at all.

They have the best queso in BR easily, it's one of my favorites I've ever had honestly. And now I have the worst craving for it
And their butt burning sauce is really good too. Actually have a bottle of it in the pantry.
ETA: What a terrific 30,000th post this was

someone please agree with me that Ninfa's mexican food is sooo overrated and over priced
Posted on 12/3/15 at 1:40 pm to LNCHBOX
Definitely agree. Their queso is so good.

It's not the create your own Subway style, but they are both fast casual counter service mexican style places.
You can get nachos, tacos, or burritos at either.
I don't think fuzzy's is bad by any stretch, there's one near my office I go to on occasion.
I just think when Izzo's is on (they certainly have consistency problems), it's hard to beat their burritos.

Izzo's pork is probably my favorite "Mexican" meat. I've never had it better elsewhere. I'm sure I don't get out enough, but it's seriously good.

I love the pork as well. I don't know how they season it, but it's delicious.

Louisiana attempt at Mexican food is worse than Texas' attempt at Cajun.
Fuzzy's is terrible

Fuzzy's is a chain that originated Fort Worth, Tx. The LA locations are simply franchises.

Try some other stuff. If my first visit was the burrito I had, I would be in the same boat.
