Yeah, well, I'd actually like a chancellor who can get the state to properly fund the university.

That's his number one job.

His number one job isn't to run off a coach who lost 3 games this year so we can go hire who knows to replace him at a cost of tens of millions more.

Now, the AD could have said "Here's the political reality. Me and TAF have Jimbo locked down tight. It's going to happen. So get on board or my friends in TAF will take you down with Miles."

Clearly that didn't happen. Probably because Jimbo was far from locked down. And TAF superpowers may be greatly exaggerated.
