Saban and Meyer are clearly the absolute best in the game.
Mark Richt just got fired, mostly because he hasn't won a championship of any kind since 2005.
Jimbo has been a head coach for 5 years and has 2 conference titles and a national championship under his belt. That's pretty damn good for the first 5 years -- it's the same number Les has (and it took Les 7 years to meet those numbers).
Harbaugh was really good at Stanford, good at SF, and looks good at Michigan.
Dabo has turned Clemson into a great football team. Probably could do it well here at LSU.
That's a pretty solid list of guys that would be worth talking to if we had a vacancy. If that's the list of guys out there that would be on par or better, I think we are already doing pretty well.

Are you kidding? Miami would hire Miles in a second. He is far better than the last 2 Miami coaches and has more hardware than Richt.the only thing that would keep someone from hiring him is his age.

Hey rick, how was that New Years bowl last year? How about the new years bowl this year? What about losing to Arkansas two years in a row now? Won't ask about Bama because we aren't expected to beat them anymore. Lost to Ole Piss 2 of the last 3 years. I see a decline in the fact that now LSU has to worry about losing to Ole Miss and Arkansas every year now. Blah, Blah before 2012. Is this the reality of LSU football now with the highest paid coaching staff in the SEC, top 5 recruiting classes 4 of the last 5 years? Your boy needs to shut his damn mouth on game day and let the staff do its damn job.

You have no idea what you're talking about. We win our bowl season and it's a 10 win season( no one believes we would've lost the McNees game) and a top 15 finish. In no way is a top 15 finish, mediocre

Says the guy saying Miles for sure couldn't get another p5 coaching job. I don't have a biased opinion of Miles at all. My loyalty to Miles ends the day he stops being lsu's coach. I was in favor of a change at HC if it was an upgrade and I think Jimbo is an upgrade.
