Stated that his son Tyson was at the LSU camp last year and Cameron told him "every time you throw the football, throw it as hard as you can", and alluded to Harris and his short passing having no touch. Indicated that he thinks this approach is the reason for Harris' struggles with the short passing game. Makes sense to me.
Can't believe people are this ignorant. So a coach, who has climbed the ranks as a successful o.c. from college, to head coach in college, to n.f.l. (with some the who's who of qb's and record breaking offenses) to head coach in n.f.l. back to college, amassing success over 20 years and he doesn't know what to tell a qb?
Do we need to go through who this guy has developed again? Grbac, Randal el, breese, rivers, flaco, even tyrod taylor, who he coached at Baltimore, is having success now. He taught George whitfield. yet, Harvey knows more than cam. Cam is so dumb all he knows is to tell a qb throw hard.
Just think about it.

did he really "develop" any of those players?
1) Elvis Grbac - Elvis Grbac was highly touted 6 foot five QB from a high school "football factory". He also had Desmond Howard to throw to. I have a feeling Grbac would have been successful whereever he went. Lets give Cam a "maybe"
2) Randle-El - Cam helped develop Randle-El from a QB (because he was the most athletic guy on the team) to wide receiver.
3) Drew Brees - Before Cam got a hold Brees, Brees was busy setting records for just about every Big 10 QB statistical category. This was at the same time Cam was supposedly developing Randle-El.
4) Phillip Rivers- Like Brees, Rivers came to the NFL a 4 year starter from NCSU and owned practically every ACC QB record in the books. By the time Rivers got on the field in San Diego, Cam had developed Rivers so well, Cam and Schottenheimer got fired.
5) Flaco only prospered after Cameron was let go by Baltimore.
6) Tyrod Taylor-- see Flaco.
As a collegiate QB coach, I fail to see where Cam has any true success as a QB coach.
