It seems likes it is a confidence issue. He doesn't believe in himself. In games towards the end of the season it seemed as if some of the offensive players started to not believe in him as well. Im sure he makes all the throws in practice, but things change, mentally, for him in games.

right now, he sux. plain and simple. i was his biggest suppoter, but how much coaching really goes into a 5 yard touch pass? i'll bet he breaks backboards playing pop-a-shot and skeeball.

As has been mentioned on this board multiple times before, this is not a problem isolated to Harris. For whatever reason our quarterbacks either cannot or have not been coached to read defenses. They have difficulty with their progressions on passing plays.
Our typical pass play appears to be: lock on and throw to your primary receiver. If he's covered, rarely does the progression go beyond option two. More likely, if the primary receiver is covered the quarterback throws it anyway and hopes he catches it, takes off running, or gets sacked. Our quarterbacks even have difficulty utilizing the throw out of bounds to avoid sacks.
It's difficult to be confident when you know you can't (or haven't been taught to) read defenses, your teammates know it, and the opposing defense knows it.
Ultimately, this is a result of poor recruiting evaluation of quarterbacks and/or coaching deficiencies. I suspect it's a heavy dose of both.
