CLEARLY, the Jimbo deal wasn't as secure as they thought

Agreed.

For one thing, there's no evidence that anyone at FSU has concerned about this.

No counteroffers, no talk of extensions. If you believe the DALSU chain of events is to believe that FSU more or less didn't care if Jimbo walked and he has been reduced to pretty much "settling" and crawling back to them with his tail tucked between his legs.

I think DALSU had real info. I think he gives good insight into how convinced the powers that be were that Jimbo was on board.

It's the Alexander narrative that's wrong. He didn't nix a deal that was solid. He may have nixed a deal that was clearly already dead...and Alleva took that as an opportunity to save face after the real deal already fell through and Alleva was standing there with his pants down.

The McKay article is designed to attack Alexander for political reasons.

I'm not suggesting that I support Alexander. But, my common sense tells me that there is ZERO chance that he steps in and kills a deal that is ready to go through that has been put together by the biggest boosters, the AD, and with vocal support of several BOS members. It's humorously absurd.
