It sounds exactly like you are saying the reason why Les' family came down on the field, flown in, carried off the field, etc. was because of the media.

Hell, Les even said in his press conference that he did not learn he was going to be coaching next year until after the game. You think he was assuming all this based on the media, and nothing from anyone other than media had been discussed with him?
