You're getting into a chicken and the egg argument though. How can you keep chucking the ball around when your QB for example Harris last night comes out 2/10. But then how can you consistently develop someone when it's a different guy every year?

Well, this sure sounds familiar...

How does it sound familiar when we've only had one twice in the last 5 years?

Oh and those two years (2011) we went to the title game and rewrote the SEC offensive record books (2013).

I think its all about calling the right plays at the right time. All we like to do is throw deep. We rarely ever gove him some easy throws to get in a rhythm before going deep. Last night is the proof. We kept trying to go deep without any rhythm and it was horrendous.

You're making the assumption that a QBs first year starting will always be a struggle.

There are plenty of teams who can plug in a new guy every year or two without missing a beat. Why is it that the only time LSU fans can expect solid production out of a QB is if it's their junior or senior year and/or 2nd or 3rd year starting? Hell, even then it's still no guarantee (JJ in 2011). That's pathetic QB coaching and development.

We've been regressing for 4 years. Why has next year been arbitrarily selected as the year that Les has no excuses. He'll still be a nice guy. He'll still be a NC winning coach. He'll still have a winning percentage of 75%+. He'll still be one of the best coaches we've ever had record wise. If not this year, then why next year. So it was mean to fire him after 8 wins this year but it'll be ok next year. What am I missing?

Didn't Ohio State finish their season with the 3rd string quarterback? Too bad it didn't work out for them. He could have used some Les Miles coaching.
