Top 10 is pretty loaded
At the same time, I don't think people realize the lengths it takes to go to to tank. You need to frick the roster up pretty seriously over the course of a year or two, to where you're team is just so bad and dysfunctional losing becomes 2nd nature
A healthy AD makes tanking almost impossible

as long as AD is healthy, there should be no tanking.
AD alone almost beat the Jazz Saturday night. If the team just played remotely mediocre, they may have won that game.

Yup. Lots of intriguing guys there.
If Davis is healthy, they will not be bad enough to "compete" with the Sixers, Lakers, and Nets. Same time, with Pels injury luck and the number of teams that will appear to be sniffing .500 in both conferences, a top 10 pick seems like a fairly realistic possibility.
They're going to have to go on a 52 win pace just to hit 44 wins. Even among Pelicans fans, 52 wins was on the more optimistic side of preseason predictions.
