The product has gone down in the last twenty years, almost to an unrecognizable state. The meringue on the pies today are similar to biting into dish suds. The pie crusts are soggy.
I'd imagine since the old man passed on, they switched to pre-fab ingredients. Not sure. But it's definitely not the same.
